He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben Henry Pope and Classie Mae Boone Pope. He is survived by: his wife Annie Hunt Pope; his daughters, Lila Denise Pope-Peele (Casey Peele) of Ahoskie, NC and Nicole Melissa Parker (Johnnie) of Ahoskie, NC; and his siblings, Bessie Eure of Como, NC, Ellen Mills (Eddie) of Murfreesboro, NC, Joe Ralph Pope of Como, NC and Raymond Clyde Pope of Philadelphia, PA. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
