He was predeceased by: his parents, Hopeton B. Kenton, Sr. and Enid Thompson Kenton. He is survived by: his wife Levonia Sams-Kenton of Como, NC; his daughters, Constance Kenton (Thomas Johnson) of Elmont, NY and Jacqueline Kenton (Diane Watts) of McDonough, GA; and his siblings, Beverly K. O'Brien of Queens, NY, JoAnn K. Miles, Patricia K. Lewis (Junior) of Jamaica and Hopeton Kenton, Jr. (Cherry). He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
