He was predeceased by: his parents, Hampton Miller and Belle Miller; his brothers, Herman, Woodrow, Douglas, Leo Miller, Bruce and Dick; and his granddaughter Janice Carol Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Edna S. Miller; his children, Carl Shivar (Malia), Cliff Miller (Cindy), Randy Shivar, Sherry Metts, Sandy Howard (Virgil) and Lisa Henn (Michael); and his siblings, Bonnie May, Louise, Hazel, Estelle and Cecil Miller (Beatrice). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
