He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Barton Hedges and Dale Dion Hedges; his wife Rebecca Carr Hedges; his children, Jane Doloughty (Chris Doloughty) of London, Charles Barton Hedges of New York City, Quinn Culbertson Hedges and Caroline Maude Francis Hedges of Columbus; and his siblings, Catherine Schneeman (Chris), John Hedges (Carolyn) and Timothy Hedges.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University for brain cancer research or to the AOPA Foundation to support flight training scholarships.
