With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Lanning of Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on October 5, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Edwin and Gladys Abernathy Lanning; and her sister-in-law Vicki Lanning. She is survived by: her brothers, Joe Lanning and Arthur Lanning (Ginny). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nephews.
