He is survived by: his wife Anna Pack Conner; his stepchildren, John Gillie (Elizabeth) of Columbus and Laura Walker (Gary) of Tryon; and his siblings, Pick Conner of Carrollton, GA, Ina Constance of Columbus, Geraldine Harris of Mooresville, Ellen Taylor of Asheville and Ruth Brown. He is also survived by twenty-two nieces and nephews; three grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
