Though Michael may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Troy McCallister and Ruth Hinson McCallister; his wife Peggy Quinn McCallister; and his children, Kyle Powers of Cowpens, Quinn McCallister of Seneca and Palles Edwards (David) of Landrum. He was also cherished by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
