With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Greene of Columbus, North Carolina, born in Tryon, North Carolina, who passed away on May 31, 2020 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mossine Plumley Constance of Columbus and Charles Larry Greene; his grandparents, Claude, Beluah Greene, Taft and Mamie Plumley; his stepfather Ernest Constance; his wife Dianne "Di" Chambers Greene; his daughters, Carrie Greene Hughey (Grayson) and Jamie Greene; his stepmother Carolyn Greene; his sisters, Judy Hefner (Gary), Diane Constance, Denise Constance and Tammy Rainey (Dustin); and his uncles, Donny Greene (Jean) and William "Dickie" Plumley. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to be made in memory of Mike to the Capital Campaign at First Baptist Church of Tryon, P.O. Box 1287, Tryon, North Carolina 28782.
