She was predeceased by: her parents, Renzo Jones and Edith Rudisail Jones; her son David Jackson; her former husband James Jackson; her husband Herman Gosnell; her brother Donald Leroy Jones; her granddaughter Heather Jackson Merrell; and her stepson Roger Gosnell.
She is survived by: her son Donald Jackson (Manda); her siblings, Ray Jones (Velma) of Green Creek and Linda Mills (William) of Columbus; her granddaughter India Jackson of Laurel Hill, NC; her grandson-in-law Chandler Merrell of Owasso; her great grandchildren, Jackson Merrell and Levi Merrell; her stepchildren, Karen Dilliard (Billy) of Spartanburg, SC and Beverly Culbreth (Robert) of Inman, SC; and her stepdaughter-in-law Donna Gosnell of Wellford, SC. She is also survived by step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Polk Memorial Gardens (700 W Mills St, Columbus, NC 28722).
