He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Dixon and Inez Devlin Dixon; and his siblings, Shirley, Barbara and David.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Michelle Dixon Harkey (Charles) of Peachtree City, GA and John Dixon (Kirstie) of Greensboro, NC; his grandsons, Andrew Dixon, Jared Harkey and Brandon Dixon; and his great grandchild Lydia Dixon. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation or Habitat for Humanity.
