He is survived by: his wife Joyce Flynn Goree; his son Jay Goree; his daughter-in-law Betsy Goree of Tryon, NC.; his grandchildren, Desty Benton of Colleyville, Jeff Goree (Andi Brumley Goree) of Greensboro and Lorena Goree Knight (Nathaniel) of Deltona, Florida.; and his great grandchildren, Hayley, Zachary, Stuart, Kennedy, Julian and Roland.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
