With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Brooks Miller of Columbus, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Monroe Miller; his sister Sarah Floyd; and his mother Zellie Mae Spivey Miller. He is survived by: his siblings, Empie Miller, Cleveland Miller, Champ Miller, Luther Miller, Carl Miller, Judith Arlene Ammons, Annie Mae Gasque, Lealer Hood and Rose Beckman (Randy) of Stone Mountain, Georgia; and his nieces and nephews, Kenneth Gasque, Kenneth Holden, Al Rogers, Luther Miller, Jr., Ranger Miller, Mary Ann Lougheed, Pam Wesler, Teresa Tyndall, Vickie Martin, Angie Collins, Jane Decker, Linda Kepley, Debra Ammons and April Todd.
The military honors will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Florence National Cemetery.
