He is survived by: his wife Rachel Hatfield Runyon; and his children, Melvin Coburn (Kay) of Rutledge, Dorothy Bell (Dana) of Delbarton, Roberta Runyon (Kimberly Dillon), Nancy Case (Calvin), Mary Jo Twitty (Darius) of Summerfield and Amy Runyon (Curtis Simpson) of Columbus. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
