With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann Hoffman of Columbus, North Carolina, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on August 9, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joann Hoffman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Harley S. Eklund and Mary Fulweider Eklund; her son Trip; and her children-in-law, Shirley Hoffman Rydman (Shird), Robert Rydman, Phyllis Hoffman Engdahl (Phyd) and Dr. Walter Engdahl.
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Oliver Hoffman Jr. (Bud); her children, Ann Chamberlain Hoffman Thomas, Frederick Eklund Hoffman, Katherine Hoffman Brown and Elizabeth Hoffman Maust; and her brother Robert Gregg Eklund of Portland. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
