It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Arledge Sain of Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Issac Arledge and Eva McMurray Arledge; her husband George L. Sain; her daughter Nancy Scoggins; her siblings, Hattie Bell Arledge, Gladys Newman, Pauline Tucker, Ruth Searcy and Harrison Arledge; her son-in-law Kevin Blackwell; and her great grandchild Clayton Scott Sain.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Sain (Gwen) of Tryon, NC, Arlene Shelton (John) of Norwood, NC and Robin Blackwell of Mill Spring, NC.
