With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gretchen Highlander (Columbus, North Carolina), born in Marinette, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 16, 2018 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sister Nancy Sheldon; her children, Nancy Kercher, Sally Kercher, Sarah Highlander and Ann Wunderlin; her stepchildren, John Highlander, Nancy Ellefson and Elizabeth Williams; and her grandchildren, Katie Ellefson, Leigh Wunderlin, Kristin Ellefson, Kyle Wunderlin, Megan Ellefson, Nicolas Williams and Paige Highlander. She was also cherished by her four children.
