She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barnette Lanford and Sybil Westbrook Bitting; and her brother Larry Fagan. She is survived by: her children, Jason C. Allen (Leslie) of Mooresville, NC and Kimberly A. Newman (James) of Boiling Springs, SC; her stepdaughter Alanza A. Ferguson (Bob) of Mint Hill, NC; her brothers, Mickey Lanford (Brenda) and Reggie D. Lanford (Nancy); her sister-in-law Norma Jean Fagan of Green Creek, NC.; and her grandchildren, Mackenzie Newman, Amanda Ferguson, Abigail Newman, Madison Newman, Katelyn Newman, Riley Allen, Karlee Newman and Ryder Allen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
