With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Klerk of Columbus, North Carolina, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on February 5, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard H. Klerk; and her parents, William J. Schickler and Hermine Bentz Schickler. She is survived by: her sons, Richard H. Klerk, III (Louise) of Elizabethtown, IN, William J. Klerk (Jullie) of Tryon, NC and Eric G. Klerk (Valerie) of Commerce, GA; her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Klerk and Helen Klerk of Centerport, NY; and her grandchildren, William J. Klerk, Jr., Alexander J. Klerk, Jonathan E. Klerk and Jaclyn V. Klerk.
