It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Leonard Griffin Jr. (Columbus, North Carolina), born in Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his former wife Kathryn Lancaster Griffin; his parents, Clyde Griffin Sr. and Edith Staton Griffin; his wife Cheryl Anderson Griffin; his son Tim Griffin (Paula) of Dana; his stepchildren, Ricky Owen of Nashville, TN and Sheri Owen Gordon (Robert) of Dana; his grandchildren, Jordan McCarson (Justin), Lindsey Griffin (Colton Brackett), Tre Gordon, Eli Gordon and Owen Gordon; his sister Ann Griffin Ledbetter (Russell) of Hendersonville; his friend Bill Hill of Hendersonville; and also Gus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
