It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Callie Mae Holmes Jackson of Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Holmes and Eula Hampton Holmes; her husband Troy L. Jackson; her daughter Karen E. Jackson; her grandson Joseph B. Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Hutcherson and Jordan Armstrong.
She is survived by: her children, Barry W. Jackson (Elyse) of Green Creek, NC, Benny Jackson (Brenda) of Green Creek, NC, Sharon J. Hughes (Jack) of Green Creek, NC and Wanda N. Mortenson of Green Creek, NC; her nephew Glen Cannon (Linda) of Texas; and her sister Betsy Snow of Amarillo, TX. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
