He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Henry and Minnie Funderburke Gee; his brothers, Wallace, Esley, Howard and Dub Gee; and his granddaughter Victoria Gee.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Gee (Kay), Carla Gaskins (Jan) and Terri Ford (Ronnie); and his grandchildren, Christopher Packer and Tammy Jackson (Jerry). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hickory Grove Baptist Church (368 Hickory Grove Church Rd, Columbus, NC 28722). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
