It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alyce Stone Sanders Poe of Columbus, North Carolina, born in Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos W. Stone and Jeanne Stone; her former husband John P. Sanders; and her sister Betty Jane Yates. She is survived by: her husband Larry Poe of Columbus; her sons, John P. Sanders, Jr. (Phil) of St Augustine, Fla and Matt Sanders of Greenville, SC; her grandson John P. Sanders III (Trey) of Jacksonville, Fla; her niece Katie Springer of Greeley; and her stepdaughters, Holly Poe Durbin of Orange, Calif, Cynthia Poe of Toledo, Laurel Gallagher, LaGrange and Ill.
