He was predeceased by: his parents, Romblus Watson and Lessie Dunbar Watson; and his siblings, Gilbert Watson, Elvin Watson, Lucille W. Adams, Neva Pearl W. Gage and Sophia W. Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Daniels; his daughters, Christy W. Roughton of Columbia, Robin W. Spencer (Joie) of Columbia and Debbie W. Davenport (Craig) of Murfreesboro, TN.; his grandchildren, J. J. Roughton, Justin Roughton (Paula), Waylone Spencer, Josie Spencer, Jefferson Davenport and Madison Davenport; and his siblings, Preston Watson of Plymouth and Jackie W. Meyer of Gray, GA.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
