With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John E. Millas of Columbia, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on February 1, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Millas and Jane Millas. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Millas of Columbia, NC; his daughters, Taryn Homick (Martin) and Johanna Lattimore (Gregory) of Auburn, NY; his stepdaughter Marisa Gillen (Robert) of New Bern, NC; and his grandchildren, Mitchell Homick, Audrey and Emme Lattimore. He is also survived by canine companion Buddy, as well as extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory can be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
