She was predeceased by: her parents, Spencer Rogers and Beulah Rogers; her son Richard L. Markley; and her granddaughter Chrystal Hamrick Rounds. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Albert Markley; her children, Timothy W. Markley (Paul Lilley) of Maine, Kim Hamrick (Mark) of West Virginia and Teresa Beavers (Brian) of Columbia; her grandchildren, Michelle Childress of Colorado, Amanda White of Columbia, Richard Hamrick (Christine) of Maryland, Joan Riggs (Vincent) of Alabama and James Markley of Alabama; and her great grandchildren, Delilah Childress, Hadley White, Hudson White, Ethan Markley, Olivia Riggs, Liana Markley, Keyara Lewis and Giana Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, c/o Tyrrell-Washington Partnership for Children Affiliate, 125 B West Water Street, Plymouth, NC 27962.
