He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Leander, Sr. and Idella Froneberger Rhyne; and his brother Lewis Rhyne. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Helton Rhyne; his children, Leann Perry Pollock (Russell) and Howard Leander "Howie" Rhyne, III (Alison); his grandchildren, Trey Perry, Natalie Clifton (David), Brandon Perry (Danielle), Hap Perry, Spencer Rhyne, Mulloy Manning, Nick Manning, Peyton Perry, Nolan Perry, Zanna Clifton, Crawford Clifton, Blair Clifton and Charli Perry; his siblings, Evelyn Calhoun (Thurman), Garland Rhyne (Daphine) and Sara Rhyne; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Rhyne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
