She is survived by: her husband Jose Aranda; her son Melvin D. Crumpler, Jr. of Garner; her grandsons, Nolan E. Crumpler of Garner and Nathan E. Crumpler of Garner; and her siblings, Lee Davis of Pittsboro, NC and Ann D. Smith of Kitty Hawk.
