He is survived by: his brother Gregory Patrick; his nephew Ronnie Newlin of Washington, NC; his niece Melissa Winstead (Dayne); his niece Billie Jo McConnell (Jerry); his great-niece Stephanie Boyd; his great-nephew Will Boyd of New Bern; his stepchildren, Bruce Emmons of Creswell, NC, Charles Basnight (Jennifer) of Wilmington and Terry Dail (Chuck) of Wilmington; his grandson Nathan Emmons of Creswell; his stepchildren, Noah Dail of Wilmington, Cameron Dail of Wilmington, Connor Dail of Wilmington and Rori DeLiscia Basnight of Wilmington; and also Jaxson K. Winstead of Washington.
