He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lloyd and Albina Simmons Davis; his wife Mary Daniels Davis; and his siblings, Sultan Davis, David Davis, Jack Davis, Ethel Armstrong and Grace Phelps.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Davis Jr. (Carol) of Columbia and Sue D. Cooper (Donald) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Davenport of Columbia, Jordan Davis (Carlie) of Columbia and Danielle D. Carawan (Charlie) of Columbia; and his great grandchildren, Magnolia Davis, Delilah Carawan and Charlie Carawan III.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bryan Funeral Service (162 L A Keiser Dr, Columbia, NC 27925).
