He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Davenport and Lillie Brickhouse Davenport; his spouse Margenette Davis Davenport; his siblings, Thomas Davenport, Percy Davenport, Billy Davenport, Ida D. Maitland, Thelma D. Hassell, Wilma D. Spencer and Clara Mae D. Rhodes; and his grandson David Dice.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles Davenport (Kathie) of Moneta, VA, Frankie Davenport (Wanda) of Columbia and Jimmy Davenport (Teresa) of Chesapeake, VA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
