He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delores Fay Hansen and Joseph Carl; his wife Melissa Rhodes; his children, Jacob Carl Rhodes of Columbia and Allison Rhodes of Columbia, SC; his stepchildren, Melanie Orlanda of California, Kristen Browning of California, Jeffrey Shaffer (Jillian) of Washington, NC and Lissia Moore of Pea Ridge; and his siblings, Mary Cannady of Rocky Mount, Marie R. Rice of Chocowinity, Linda R. Norman of Columbia, April J. Gammon of Columbia, Darlene H. Rogers of Florida, Donna Ginn and Charlie Brown. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the American Legion (285 Legion Beach Rd, Columbia, NC 27925).
