He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hill MacKenzie; his children, Bruce MacKenzie (Sue) of Alabama and Sharon MacKenzie (Alexandra MacKenzie) of South Carolina; his half-brother Douglas MacKenzie (Katherine) of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Adam MacKenzie, Molly Springfield (Ted), Bryan Emond (Jolie) and Michelle Nieves.
