With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Modlin Gordon of Colfax, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Modlin and Lelia Smith Modlin; her spouse Sammy Gordon; and her brother Herman Modlin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shady Grove Wesleyan Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 98, Colfax, NC 27235.
