She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oakley and Dot Wall Oakley; and her brother Gerald Oakley. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Owens; her daughters, Christie Heckman (Karl) of Hoover, AL and Angela Carpenter (Eric) of High Point; her siblings, Dru Coltrain (Larry) of Colfax and Eddie Oakley (Jane) of Jamestown; and her grandchildren, Karlie, Kirsten Heckman, Alexis, Owen Finley, Abigail and Kate Carpenter.
