She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hunt and Maudie Lowery Hunt; her husband Talmon Tyler; and her sister Mary Lois Locklear. She is survived by: her children, Tina Wilson (Wesley) of Kernersville, NC, Shannah Locklear (Chris) of Winston Salem, NC, Patrick Tyler of Winston Salem, NC and Joseph Tyler (Lori) of Winston Salem, NC. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
