She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertie Merritt Pope and Avery Bryant "A. B."; her husband John Thomas Potts; and her siblings, Margie Catlett, Bernell Jessup, Geneva Warren, Pauline Middleton, A. B. Jr., Amos, Jessie, Herbert, Wallace, Ray, Tommy and Lee Pope.
She is survived by: her son Joe; her daughter-in-law Jessica Potts; and her grandson John Thomas "JT" Potts. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont and/or Alzheimers Association.
