He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Dale and Millicent Rush Tedder; and his siblings, Anna T. Williams, Frances Ramseur and Claud Dale Tedder II.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Vernon Tedder; his children, Nadine Tedder Whitehead (Thomas Townsend) of High Point, Max Spencer Tedder, Jr. of Greensboro and David Alan Tedder (Amy) of High Point; his sister Rebecca Jane Tedder of Colfax; his grandchildren, Lauren Gerringer, Matthew Tedder, Ashley Sledge, Sean Tedder, Bridget Whitehead and Steven Tedder; and his great grandchildren, Daniel, Jacob, Nemhemiah, Hannah, Jack, Stella, Abrielle, Parker and Rhett.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Max's memory to Hospice of the Piedmont 1801 Westchester Dr. High Point, NC 27262.
