She was predeceased by: her husband Reavis Devon "Pete" Marshall; and her siblings, Annie Crutchfield, Hazel Morris, Edna Beeson, Opal Flynt, Juanita McCormick, Hubert, Raymond and Clyde Young.

She is survived by: her children, R. D. Jr (Kempy) and Lisa McLaughlin (Doug); her grandchildren, Melanie McLaughlin Linares (Brian), Jordan Marshall (Megan) and Jason Marshall (Caroline); and her great grandchild Emersyn Marshall.
