He is survived by: his wife Angela "Angie" Aker Morgan; his children, Kayla Morgan and Jared Morgan (Ashlyn Humble); his brother Raymond Waller of Greensboro; and his nephew Wayne Brumfield of Gibsonville.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in David's memory to St. John's Church.
