He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Columbus and Beatrice Barnhart Bame; and his siblings, Elizabeth Shields, Shirley Barnhill, Lee C. Bame, Jr., Harrelson, Jr. and Murphy Bame.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Welborn Bame; his sons, Joel Bame (Joanne) and Chris Bame (Laura); his grandchildren, Jessica, Colter and Connar Bame; and his siblings, Annie Hutchens, Donna Caulder, Fred Bame and Harold Bame.
With social distancing observed and masks requested, a private graveside service for Curtis will be held at Smith Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Freeman officiating.
