She was predeceased by: her father Hugh Bryant; her husband Dewey Fleetwood Pierce; and her sisters, Ann Hodges Ward and Pauline Pitt Morris. She is survived by: her children, Pam Pierce of Farmville, Wendy Pearce (Ritchie) of Farmville, Cheryl Jernigan of Ahoskie and Woody Pierce (Mary) of Windsor; her grandchildren, Blair Pearce Covington, Bryant Pierce and Gavin Pierce; and her brother Lawrence Pitt.
