He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Perry; and his sister Vicky Perry. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Grissom Perry of Edenton, NC; his daughter Jaziyah Perry of Colerain, NC; his father James Perry of Colerain, NC; his siblings, Crystal Perry of Colerain, NC, Aletha Perry (Robert) of Middletown, CT and Clinton Perry (Traniece) of Middletown, CT; and his friend Curtis Holley. He is also survived by seven aunts, one great aunt, one uncle, five sisters in laws, one brother in law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
