She was predeceased by: her parents, Gurney P. Jernigan and Magnolia White Jernigan; her husband Alton O. "Monk" Jernigan; her son Randy Lane Jernigan; and her brother Gurney Everett Jernigan.
She is survived by: her son Lyndon Jernigan (Beth) of Windsor; her sister Marie Mizelle (Larry) of Colerain; her grandson Dustin Jernigan (Margaret); her great grandchildren, Madison and Elliott Jernigan; and her sisters-in-law, Gail Jernigan, Rosie Jernigan of Colerain and Anna Jernigan of Windsor. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
