It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Raynor Horne (Colerain, North Carolina), who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Roosevelt Miller. She is survived by: her mother Essie Mae Raynor of Colerain, NC; her daughters, Tara Raynor (George) of Aulander, NC and Katrina Raynor; her siblings, Pamela Chamblee of Windsor, NC, Unie Drake (Carlton) of Ahoskie, NC, Gloria Thompson, Larry Raynor (Victoria) of Portsmouth, VA, Malcolm Raynor of Dominic Republic and Major Raynor of Elizabeth City, NC; her boyfriend Leon Moore; and her goddaughter Danelle Askew of Aulander, NC. She is also survived by two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
