He is survived by: his children, Cindy Wooten of Winterville and Dennis Dunlow (Crystal) of Clayton; his grandchildren, Abby, Hunter, Lily, Jenna, Camden and Tyler; and his siblings, Garry Dunlow (Beverly) of Wilmington and Idonia Williams (Marshall) of Winton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Vance's memory.
