She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Albert Britt and Julia Ray Nelson Henley. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Cale; her children, Marshall Harrell (Connie) of Gatesville, Alice Harrell of Colerain and Crystal Jenkins (Gilbert) of Eure; her grandsons, Jason Harrell (Dawn) of Hobbsville, Steven Jenkins (Ashley) of Ahoskie and Matthew Jenkins of Eure; her great grandchildren, Journie of Ahoskie, Laykin of Ahoskie, Bradley Jenkins of Ahoskie and Carly Harrell of Hobbsville; her siblings, Ann Hollomon of Virginia, Sarah Diaz of Virginia and Raymond Britt of Michigan; her grandchildren, Amanda Harrell and Casey Jenkins; and her sisters, Pauline Cherry, Jessie Rae Whitehurst and Shirley Dunning.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service (205 NC-42, Ahoskie, NC 27910). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Colerain Baptist Church (202 N Main St, Colerain, NC 27924). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Gardens (109 Ward Rd, Ahoskie, NC 27910).
