She is survived by: her children, Shatoya Leary (Mike) of Harrellsville, NC and Kasime Leary of Ahoskie, NC; her close friend Irvin Hardy of Aulander, NC; and her siblings, Myrtisphene Askew of Harrellsville, NC, Georgia Estella Lewis (David) of Emporia, VA and Alex Jasper Perry of Hampton, VA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
