He is survived by: his wife Judy Hughes Pierce of Colerain, NC; his daughters, Carolyn Ann Pierce and Catherine Neal Pierce of Ahoskie, NC; his sister Beth Pierce Moore (Robert) of Canton, GA; his stepchildren, Michael Lee Hughes (Ellen) of Union, NC and Anna Hughes Brawner (Matt) of Raleigh, NC; and his nephews, Matthew Moore (Laura) of Marietta, GA and Spencer Moore of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
