With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilma Inez Hawley (Coats, North Carolina), who passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest B. Jernigan and Mary E. Holmes Jernigan; and her siblings, Ralph, Linwood Jernigan, Ruth Williams, Mildred Weaver and Marie Dorman.
She is survived by: her husband William B. Hawley; her children, Gail Hawley Dixon (Jay Dixon) of Fuquay-Varina, Janet Dale Hawley Allen of Dunn, Andy L. Hawley of Dunn and David Hawley (Judy) of Hope Mills; her grandchildren, Crystal Hawley of Coats, Ava Dixon Mills (Christopher Mills) of Garner, Julia Norman (Daniel Norman) of Coats, David Dixon of Garner, Robert Allen of Dunn and Andy L. Hawley, Jr. (Logan Hawley) of Erwin; and her brother Harold Jernigan. She is also survived by six great-grand-children.
In accordance with NC-COVID -19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering when indoors.
