He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Stephenson and Mildred Pope Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Lennie Stephenson of Coats; his daughter Jennifer Barefoot of Benson; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Creech, Jr., Brittany Barefoot and Susan Barefoot; his great grandchildren, Justin, Holden and Isabela; and his brother John Wheeler of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
